Improved over the previous OM 5 Gimbal Stabilizer, the DJI Osmo Mobile 6 Smartphone Gimbal features an even more compact frame that is easier to balance and fold, and now comes with an extension that provides an extra 20cm of length to help project more. It also comes with an improved magnetic phone clip that allows the gimbal to automatically detect your phone and align the clip.
Osmo Mobile 6 features improved long-range stability with the upgraded ActiveTrack 5.0, which can automatically track body shapes to track people without having to make manual selections. The DJI Mimo app connects via Bluetooth 5 to provide multiple shooting modes and functions, including Sports, Portrait, Underslung, Landscape, Time Lapse, Motion Shot, Hyperlapse, Panorama, Slow Motion, Start Style Spin (SpinShot) and Sports Mode for dynamic shooting. In addition to using the joystick on the handle, you can also use hand gestures to control the gimbal to track your movements, take selfies, or start/stop your smartphone's camera, so you don't have to press the record button or tap any controls.
You can mount any smartphone up to 8cm wide in the phone stand, and its magnetic phone holder makes it easy and quick to put on and take off. The built-in smart sensor even tells you when your smartphone is set. Built-in battery life is approximately 6.4 hours and charging with the supplied USB Type-C cable takes approximately 1.5 hours. There is a mounting thread at the bottom of the gimbal handle for attaching the gimbal to the included tripod or other accessories. A storage case is also included to store and transport the gimbal.
